Giveaways are unavoidable if you want to build your business. In today’s busy online world, if you can’t offer a free gift, resource or sample of your services you can’t really compete.
Businesses are waking up to the fact that giveaways not only drive lead generation and conversions, they are also a key tool in building positive customer relationships.
Knowing this is one thing; being able to make it happen is another.
You might think this sounds complicated and not know where to start. That’s why we designed Doorluck. Now there is an easy way to use giveaways to build your mailing list, social media followers, brand awareness and sales.
While we are proud that Doorluck offers everything that other giveaway websites don’t, we thought it would be fun to create a list of some other quality websites to post your giveaway to for maximum exposure.
At Doorluck, you can create, post and promote your giveaway all within the site itself, which means that everything is managed easily in one place.
Nevertheless, here is our list of the top online sites to post giveaways to.
Giveaway Frenzy is a popular website for contests, giveaways and sweepstakes. Once you submit your giveaway to them, they publish it on their top 100 giveaway sites. They have options to promote competitions on social media, their website and mailing list.
Their promotion packages rage from a free listing on their website up to $79.99 for the aggressive promotion kit.
Online-Sweepstakes is home to the largest online community of giveaway, sweepstake and contest lovers. It requires a free account to get started and a $30 per year membership fee to access all the features.
Users can enter their sweeps into the huge online database where they can promote it among the other members and enter sweepstakes themselves.
There have been several recently reported issues with the site as they seem to be undergoing some technical issues, so we don’t recommend signing up with them until these get resolved.
We did think they were worth a mention for their success and helpful online community. Here’s hoping they can continue their great work soon.
Their tagline is “win what you can’t afford”, which we think is pretty neat.
Sweeties Sweeps has a bit more of a personal touch. Wendy Limauge shares about her passion for online contests and how she won her first TV in 1993. It’s nice to see the face behind the website.
Wendy shares a lot of useful information about how to get the most out of online competitions. There’s a downloadable e-book available on the site to help her audience learn the ins and outs of online giveaways and sweepstakes.
Contestgirl is another one of the big online contest databases and has been running since 2006. Users need to sign up to access the database where they can enter giveaways or post contests and sweepstakes.
There are a few advertising options on Contestgirl that include featured listings, featured blog listing, skyscraper and leaderboard banners and newsletter promotions.
There’s also a handy feature that allows users to create a list of contests they want to enter daily, weekly or monthly.
I Love Giveaways doesn’t allow users to upload giveaways directly to their site, but it does make for a useful database for finding giveaways online.
Members can post links to their giveaways on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs or other platforms. Users then search for the type of giveaway they are interested in and follow the links back to the source.
Doorluck is the only online giveaway platform we can find that allows you to create giveaways, post them and promote them all in one place.
You can enter giveaways, post your own and track your results all from the Doorluck webpage. This is an excellent option for people who aren’t sure how to create a giveaway or use it to promote their business.
Tracking the results of your giveaway can be a real challenge if you’re using social media to host your campaign. It can also be challenging to get eyes on your prize if you post it to your website but don’t get a lot of traffic.
We believe we have created the perfect solution by eliminating all barriers that stop people from getting great results from their giveaways.
Check out our home page to view the fantastic giveaways we are currently hosting and to start creating your own.

Sweepstake Lovers have been going since 2008. They have a handy categories section in their sidebar that makes it easy to search for giveaways by topic.
You can buy advertising packages form them by the week or month. They occasionally run their own giveaways where users can sponsor the giveaway with their own products. In exchange for this, users get a link to their website and social media included in the giveaway that Sweepstakes Lovers promote on their site.
Though they don’t host many giveaways, we wanted to include this one in the list because it’s a great resource. They post links to a small number of competitions each day, but the website seems to be used mainly as a resource about online sweepstakes and contests.
They even have a section on frugal living full of advice on saving money and live a more affordable lifestyle.
Sweepstakes Advantage has been operating since 1997. They are a large database for online giveaways where users can post and enter competitions.
You can pay for a basic or premium monthly advertising package to help draw attention to your offer. They also offer a handy CPC advertising option where users can purchase a predetermined number of clicks to drive traffic to their giveaway.
If you don’t use all of your clicks, they get credited towards your next promotion. This allows you to bulk order clicks and use them when you’re ready to promote your next giveaway.
There is no shortage of platforms helping people promote their giveaways online. One thing is clear: creating the giveaway is the first step; getting it in front of people is the next.
You can create a giveaway and run it on a social media profile or within your own blog, but tracking your progress, collecting e-mails and choosing a winner can be a challenge.
Doorluck has been designed to make the process of creating, posting, promoting, tracking and optimizing your giveaway a seamless experience, instead of a project that takes up more time and energy than it should.
